Adega Mayor top tier wine, this 2014 Adega Mayor Reserva do Comendador , a red wine from the region of Alentejo produced with trincadeira, syrah, alicante bouschet and aragonêz from the 2014 vintage and comes with an alcohol content of 14%. Garnet colour. Intense aroma with notes of black cherry and blackberry. Full-bodied on the palate, ripe tannins, long and persistent end.
Destemming without crushing, fermentation in stainless steel tank at 25ºC and daily rack and return. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels where the wine aged for 18 months. 12 months in the bottle before placing on the market.
An elegant and refined companion for large array of strong cheeses and roasted meat dishes. Excellent harmony with game dishes and/or dishes with intense and spicy aromas and flavours.
